Cheques Deposits

If you would like to make a donation by cheque, please make all cheques payable to ‘SteppingStones Charity’ and send it to the following address:

Please check the following when sending postal donations to our donation department.

  1. Make sure the address is correct.
  2. Put a return address on the back in case the letter is undelivered.
  3. Send the letter by recorded delivery if sending large amounts.
  4. Make sure that it is stamped correctly according to weight and size of the letter.
  5. State clearly on the back of the cheque the type of donation (Lillah, Sadaqah, Zakaat etc).
  6. If sending a standing order form, make sure all the details are filled in correctly.
  7. If you require a receipt, then please send a self addressed stamped envelope. This will help us reduce our administration costs when sending a receipt back to acknowledge payment.

Please notify us via email ( of any bank deposits/transfers made, including your name, the type of donation (Lillah, Sadaqah, Zakaat etc) and the project the donation should go towards. Alternatively, you can use your name and type of donation as reference during deposit/transfer of funds.

If you wish for us to claim Gift Aid on any of your donations, please fill in the Gift Aid Declaration Form and post it to us with your donation. To learn more about gift aid, please visit ‘Gift Aid It’ section of our website.
